Serai @Empire SS16, Subang Jaya

Here we go! :) Paid Empire Shopping Gallery a visit this evening with family, Godma and aunt. We were there to have our dinner, at this place named Serai!

Serai is actually Cymbopogon (lemongrass).

It's located at the ground floor of esg.

The environment of non-smoking area.

 Serai Iced Tea.
It's a combination of red tea, mint leaves, serai and lemon sorbet. The appearance is kinda attractive, but its taste is actually quite ordinary. I would suggest to try Minted Calamansi Soda. It's pretty addictive :)

Serai Special Kantan Sauce Prawns.
It's spicy with a light sour taste! The prawns are fresh, with no fishy smell when you give the prawn a bite. Certainly crispy and I practically ate the prawn's shell together, which I usually don't.

Deep Fried Crispy Brinjal with Serai Spice.
This is recommended by me! hahahahaha! The texture is excellent with the nice spice aroma. I think people who don't like brinjal will like this. Wait, I think, am not sure :P

Mango Chicken
Taste a little different with the yellowish gravy mango chicken we get outside. I think it's because of the spices added, and the meat is tender and juicy!

Deep Fried Salted Egg Squid
I love crabs, prawns and squid which are cooked with salted egg. Yes, I like this dish! :)

Deep Fried Spicy Samrot Fish
We ordered the wrong sauce actually.. Maybe because some of the previous dishes were spicy, it made us felt that this fish is even more spicy. I asked for a glass of water after this, couldn't calm my taste buds with the Serai Iced Tea.

After the main courses with rice, we had desserts! Hoorayyyy! :) At the same place, they serve macaroons, Walnut Torte, Carrot Walnut cake, Tiramisu, Berry Pavlova, Apple Crumble with Cream served with vanilla ice-cream and a few more, I can't really remember.

Tiramisu
The texture is nice, and the taste of cheese, coffee bind perfectly, its awesome! Not too strong coffee taste, and not very sweet. I didn't feel bored eating this slide of tiramisu.

Berry Pavlova
The sourness of strawberries and sweetness of grapes, bind together with the pavlova, awesome and fantastic! It doesn't taste heavy :)

You can give this restaurant a try! I would like to go back again and try their Nasi Kerabu, Serai Platter, and moreee!

There goes my day, nothing productive. Oh wait, I managed to master the chinese flute better! Yayy! All by myself :) Kinda excited about it, hope to learn new songs if time allowed me to. Final exam is next Thursday, gonna stop procrastinate my studies! Wish me luck! ;)
